Disclaimers

Sherwood Oaks Film School is not affiliated with any studio. Sherwood Oaks does hold classes on studios including: Warner Bros, Fox Studios, NBC Universal Studios, Paramount, Disney/ABC Studios, Sony Studios and the Lot.

Sherwood Oaks Film School utilizes working Hollywood professionals and due to their hectic and sometimes unpredictable schedule, no guest is guaranteed.

If we state that a guest is going to attend than either s/he or someone in their office orally said this. If there is a misunderstanding, we apologize but we have had hundreds of famous guests over the last 30 years.

Sherwood Oaks does commit to 5 guests per day on average so a 3 day event will have 15 speakers.

We are not responsible for any errors or omissions on this site.

Just like any school, Sherwood Oaks does not guarantee success in Hollywood or that you will get representation. However, Sherwood Oaks’ track record of 35 years of success is extremely high especially due to the low dollar investment required. Please check out our testimonials. We have not found another school in the world that has the same track record in Hollywood success that we have been fortunate to have.

Several producers and Hollywood executives only recruit from Sherwood Oaks due to our devotion to developing our students and creating a comfortable atmosphere for the speaker.

We reserve the right to raise prices at any time. We also reserve the right to request that a student leave without reimbursement if they are disrupting the class or harassing a speaker. We may request that you not return to Sherwood Oaks for at least two years if you harass a speaker after the class is over, which includes uninvited calls/emails.

Most students and all speakers / Hollywood professionals love this policy. Troublemakers and the least likely to succeed dislike this policy. We have received one negative public review due to one student upset after calling the head of the studio who was a guest speaker and asked when his movie was being made. This does not work. It reflects badly on the school and the student will not get work this way.

We work very hard to ensure that the students meet the best guests in Hollywood and the Hollywood guests obtain fresh, new material which they need to succeed while getting a sense of how the person is. We want to make the experience be beneficial for both parties. It is our tradition on building mutually beneficial relationships. These relationships are built on professionalism.

Everyone is very busy, courtesy, patience and professionalism are required.

If anyone has any issue, please let us know and we will address it and will work to resolve this issue and change policies or anything we need to do to ensure that it does not happen in the future.

We work extremely hard to provide an open, trusted professional atmosphere for meaningful beneficial relationships where both parties gain. If there are any concerns, please provide feedback to swofilmschool@gmail.com or info@sherwoodoakscollege.com and will do our best to resolve any issues.
