Screenwriter Jackie Devereaux has signed an option agreement with Susan Johnston, President of Select Services Films Inc., for her screenplay, BANDIDOS.

After attending a Producers Meeting Event put on by Sherwood Oaks Experimental College Jackie followed up with the producers she met, and generated a lot of interest in her script.

Jackie was previously hired by Gidget Worldwide, Inc. to write for the TV Show/film of Gidget.  The company is looking introduce a new series of Gidget based entertainment properties. During the past two and a half years, GWI has been busy securing financing and building licensing and merchandise relationships around the globe.

“It has been a real pleasure working with Jackie. She’s been very enthusiastic and professional at every step along the way. Jackie grew up a Gidget girl, and brings lots of personal experience to the project,” said Kevin Powell, COO of Gidget Worldwide Inc.

Jackie has already completed a feature screenplay for the company and is currently working on ideas for a pilot.
