Karen Mueller Bryson

Screenwriter Karen Mueller Bryson was hired to write the biography of legendary sports icon Cindy McCoy that is soon to be made into a movie. McCoy, the Roller Games Queen who skated for the Los Angeles Thunderbirds, was the only female ever to be voted Rookie of the Year.
This deal came about when a colleague who had been hired to write the screenplay recommended Karen to write the bio. The film is out to funding sources right now.
Previously Karen was hired to co-write a screenplay about Shelby Rodriguez’s true life story. This came on the heels of Karen’s first script being optioned!
Tentatively titled “Mom On A Mission,” Shelby was called the “Erin Brockovich of Antelope” after saving her 534-unit housing development from harmful fumes that had caused some to have asthma and other breathing related illnesses. The story has been covered in many news outlets, including People Magazine (see article here) and earned Shelby the 2009 Mom On A Mission award from HealthyChild.org.
Excellent work, Karen!
